White Peony white loose leaf tea (30g) is the least processed variety of tea, prepared from young tea buds and leaves. It comes from Fujian Province in China. It has a delicate taste with noticeable floral notes. When brewed, it resembles the blooming flowers of White Peony.
Properties
White tea is the least processed variety of tea. Young tea leaves are rich in polyphenols and catechins - antioxidants. They are responsible for destroying free radicals. Additionally, white tea supports the detoxification of the body from toxins and strengthens the immune system.
Taste
White Peony tea is characterized by a light yellow, delicate color of the infusion. It is famous for its full but delicate flavor with a slightly earthy aftertaste. The whole thing is enhanced by a sweet and floral flavor. We encourage you to brew it several times.
Origin :
White Peony tea comes from the mountainous Fujian region in China. White Peony (also called Pai Mu Dan) consists of young shoots and tea leaves. After harvesting, farmers dry them very slowly in cool rooms. Only after several dozen hours does the tea dry the leaves. Thanks to this, tea leaves are less processed than in the case of black or green teas.
How to brew:
Pour 2-3 g of the product with 180 ml of water at a temperature of 70-85°C. Give the tea 2-4 minutes alone. If your heart sweetly tells you to add honey or sweetener to your tea, don't hesitate for a moment.
